Max L. Rosenberg, a graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, represents clients in all phases of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. He has extensive experience with consumer protection, criminal, family, real estate, and employment law.

While practicing in New York, Attorney Rosenberg mediated disputes at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Attorney Rosenberg was also an instructor at the John Jay College School of Criminal Justice.

Attorney Rosenberg started his career as an actor, staring in a variety of films, educational videos, and television commercials. He honed his craft by performing stand up comedy in the Borsht Belt, Catskills and New York City clubs.

Attorney Rosenberg graduated from Greens Farms Academy. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance at Fordham University, Lincoln Center where he wrote and directed numerous plays. He earned his Masters Degrees in Sociology and Religion from Columbia University and Union Theological Seminary focusing his studies on Liturgiology.

Attorney Rosenberg is currently the attorney of record for the Pyramid Shrine Masonic Lodge in Milford.

Ilya I. Press is a native of St. Petersburg, Russia and a long term resident of West Hartford, Connecticut with a solid educational and professional background.

He studied Political Science and History at the University of Connecticut. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of Connecticut, Mr. Press continued his education at the Quinnipiac University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate in May of 2001.

During his Law School tenure Mr. Press clerked for Connecticut Legal services, New Britain Superior Court, and Prudential Home Realty. Prior to joining The Giarniero Law Firm, LLC, he worked as a court clerk in Rockville Superior Court; he was a full time associate at the Law Office of John F. O'Brien in Rockville, Connecticut, where he worked on a number of criminal, housing, and civil matters; he was a temporary associate on a special project with Rome McGuigan, P.C.

Ilya has extensive knowledge of Consumer Protection, Criminal Law, Immigration, DUI Defense, Debtor/Creditor, Custody and Visitation, Family Law, Collections, Divorce, Personal Injury, and Auto Dealer Fraud.

Ryan K. Miller represents clients in various areas of the law. He focuses in Personal Injury Litigation and Contracts/Business Law. He also has experience in Real Estate Law (Residential and Commercial), Civil Litigation, Probate Law, Immigration Law, Family Law, Workers Compensation, and Employment Law.

Attorney Miller graduated from Rutgers University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, while competing in the Big East Conference as a three sport athlete on the University’s Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Spring Track & Field teams. He went on to graduate on the Dean’s List from the Southern New England School of Law, where he also received the St. Thomas More Award at the School’s Commencement Ceremony and was the Dean of the Delta Theta Phi Larkin Senate, as well as the captain of the School’s Moot Court Team.

Attorney Miller is actually involved in the community as a member and the Sergeant of Arms of the Stratford Rotary Club. He is also a member of the Stratford YMCA Board of Directors, Sterling House Community Center Personnel/Legal Committee, Connecticut Bar Association, Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, and the Association of the Trial Lawyers of America.

Christopher D. Hite represents clients in a wide variety of practice areas. He primarily focuses on family/child custody matters, probate and estate planning, civil litigation, chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, and consumer law issues.

Attorney Hite graduated from the College of William and Mary, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics.  He continued his studies at Syracuse University College of Law, where he won numerous awards in various national and interschool trial and appellate competitions.  Additionally, Attorney Hite was the recipient of an Equal Justice Works Summer Fellowship for his work at the Monroe County Legal Assistance Center and participated in the Syracuse University College of Law Community Development Law Clinic.

Upon graduation, Attorney Hite was admitted to both the Connecticut and New York bars and practiced for several years at a general practice firm in Tolland County.  During this time, he gained extensive litigation experience and knowledge in many areas, specifically family, probate, consumer law and bankruptcy matters.

Attorney Hite is actively involved in the Connecticut Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Section, currently serving as an Executive Committee Co-Chair for the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section. Additionally, he is actively involved in a number of community-based and charitable endeavors.

Osi Korn-Rosenberg is a native of Israel having come to this country in 1982. Ms. Korn studied Psychology and Education at the University of Florida. After earning her Bachelor of Arts she pursued her career in educational programming earning a Masters Degree from New York University in Educational Communication and Technology.

While completing her Masters Degree, Ms. Korn produced documentaries for Nick News with Linda Ellerbee and the award winning production team of Lucky Duck, Inc. She continued her career in the entertainment industry producing numerous documentaries such as Psychic Detectives, Deep Sea Detectives and the National Body Challenge with Kralyevich Productions.

Ms. Korn is a seasoned real estate paralegal having completed Real Property Pursuit Course and the title search course, Tracing Footsteps with CATIC. She was the primary paralegal and office manager for Law Offices of Max L. Rosenberg, LLC, the primary real estate paralegal for Thornberry & Rosenberg and continues to direct Rosenberg & Press, LLC.

Jared Riviere graduated from Ithaca College in 2009 where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in History with minor studies in Economics. Jared is an experienced real estate paralegal having completed Real Property Pursuit Course and Tracing Footsteps with CATIC. He has continued his education in real estate by attending several seminars regarding the new 2010 RESPA reform and the complexity of Short Sales.

Jared has successfully closed dozens of short sales and is well versed in negotiating with the lien holders to get complex deals to the closing table. Jared is knowledgeable in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and works alongside the attorneys at Rosenberg & Press to go after Debt Collectors who violate our clients’ rights. .

Brian Mezick, born and raised in North Haven Connecticut, graduated from University of Maryland in 2008 where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Mr. Mezick is an experienced Paralegal having completed a Paralegal Certificate Program from University of Connecticut. He has continued to expand his knowledge and skills by attending seminars in various continuing education opportunities. Mr. Mezick is heavily involved in his Church’s outreach programs and the Dominican Republic Mission Team where he assists in building homes and hospitals. He furthermore assists and coordinates large annual fundraisers for projects in the Dominican Republic.

Mr. Mezick’s begain his careers at Rosenberg & Press as an intern in September 2011 and quickly became a valued member of the team. Today he is a Full Time Paralegal whose main areas of focus include Collections, Evictions, Small Claims, and Personal Injury.

Brittany Bisson, born and raised in Ansonia, Conecticut, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western Connecticut State University in 2011 where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Justice and Law Administration with a concentration in Legal Studies. While attending WCSU she was President of Alphi Phi Sigma, the Criminal Justice National Honor Society and was awarded the Deans Award for the Ancell School of Business for outstanding academic achievement. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Criminal Procedures, Family Law and Constitutional Law. During her academic career Ms. Bisson was involved in the Value United Way Youth Leadership Volunteer Program.

Brittany began her career with Rosenberg & Press in July of 2012 as the Legal Secretary assisting all of the Attorneys and Staff. Ms. Bisson has become an integral member of the Rosenberg & Press family.
